Genesis World Energy Founder Arrested in Idaho

On September 23, Patrick Timothy Kelly was arrested by the Ada County Sheriff on a warrant for "flight to Idaho" from New Jersey. The Ada County jail registry is updated every morning at 9:30 Easterm time, and he was still there this morning. At a hearing on October 26th before Judge Oths, Kelly was to be represented by public defender Kevin Rogers against prosecutor Heather Reilly. The NJ State Police would not disclose why they have a warrant out for Kelly, so it's not necessarily related to United Fuel Cell Technologies, Genesis World Energy, Genesis Energy Systems, GWE Technologies, or Genesis Scientific.

Since his arrest, there have been no updates to genesis-scientific.com, Kelly's 415 area code phone has stopped answering, and one of his domain name registrations has gone "pendingrenewalordeletion". So it seems like he's not been getting a lot of assistance from helpers. And since he's represented by a PD and not made bail in over a month, his supporters seem absent as well.

"Word on the Street" is that he was arrested regarding GWE, etc... I also heard he has a public defender because he has spent all the investors money..... Anyone who invested in this cr*p is an idiot. It seems to me that NJ investigators like could have been helped long ago, but those investors thought the government wanted to ruin it..... I can't wait until this matter becomes public and people can see where Kelly spent their money..... I commend John for his interest in this scam..... Pardon me while I get back to spinning gold out of straw.....

the only thing he spent money on was tweeked childrens' fuel cell kits and piping to make a nice model which is about as useful as a coffee table. lots of companies are working on alternative power sources, real ones. Once files are made public, you will all see where the money went and I can guarantee none will be pleased

If my chronology is right, some the money was spent on the house on North Andrew Lane. Search the Ada assessor at http://www.adacountyassessor.org/propsys/ParcelSearch.jsp for parcel R7709170600 and you can see that it was undeveloped in 2001 but by 2003, it had $190k of improvement in the form of a 2630 square foot house. I bet a lot more of the funds raised from investors in 2001-2002 went to that house than into Hamburger-Hamburgler toys, scrap washing-machine housings, and other Edison Device related paraphernalia.

interesting to see how it all went down. We in the community of skeptics of free energy claims spotted this one as a likely scam from years ago. True believers wanted to hear nothing of it. Plenty of more skilled free energy con men like Dennis Lee are still openly operating.

the whole case was bullshirt you know that right?

let me guide you through the whole case

ok nj arrested him from stuff that "some person" put on the internet, claiming he was a fraud and was stealing money.
They also claimed he lived in nj and left the scene of the crime, which in this case is new jersey.

So they had him extrodited to nj only to find all the stuff they accused him of was ALL false, seeing as he was never a nj resident and they have no proof of him ever taking the improvement cost out of the company.

so as you can see New Jersey pretty much digged its own grave. I wont be surprised if Pat sues them for a whole bunch of crap.

I SAY FREE HIM!

You seem to be confusing the charges in the indictments and the "unlawful flight" charge that was used to arrest him in Idaho. Nobody cares if Kelly really entered Jersey after the indictment.

Those charges in the indictment looked pretty specific. I wouldn't be surprised to see documentary evidence used to support them. By improvement cost do you mean the cost to build the North Andrew Lane place? Just don't hold your breath waiting for Kelly to pull out receipts for those factories all over the world he says have been in production since 2003.

This guy who says free pat kelly is a clown. I do not know where you get your info from that NJ doesnt have a case..... Kelly drove a Hummer and spent tons of $$ on gas.. This hummer was supposedly run by a fuel cell... Kelly is a scumbag, plain and simple. He promised jobs to hopeful people who wanted to believe in him. The jobs never came. They said they had scholarships to put people into higher education but they never did. Kelly put everything in everyone else's name and not his own, like his own family.... the guy is a coward....

He's not a clown, he's just going through some talking points. I don't want to help them test market their baloney but some of it's just so silly. Who said that Kelly lived in New Jersey? Where is it in the indictment that Kelly used the investor funds for the house?

I can't wait to see Kelly go to court defending against charges that weren't made. No matter what comes out in court, there will always be people saying "but he never lived in Jersey" and "they never did prove he spent the money on the house".

About the house. The place where the Edison photos were taken is now two payments behind on property taxes. $4,233.60 for 2005 was due in two installments, one June 20th and one back at the beginning of the year, and neither has been made.

I just stumbled upon this - apparently years after the fact. I knew Pat in Spokane & Seattle when he was conning investors as Aerospace Technologies, Inc. in the middle 80's. His con then was leveraged buyouts.

For some reason, I just did a search for "Pat Kelly Fraud". I knew he'd wind up in jail. I thought Pat was a brilliant guy, but he would always find the dishonest way to do things - even when the honest way would have been easier.

He wound up in Spokane because he got chased out of Montana for the same thing but in a plastics company. I'll bet you'll find people all over the west coast who've been conned by this guy over his whole life.

That's why he eventually ended up in Jersey. He had to go far away from the PNW to find people he hadn't already cheated. Also he made efforts to hide his ties to Genesis. When he went public with the press conference in Boise in 2002, he'd hired two Boise based PR firms to talk to the press and recruited an NJ dentist's family to act as the promoters.

Yes, he was always looking over his shoulder. I can't imagine going through life wondering if everyone you met was going to be the one to connect the dots. His mug shot looks really bad. He's an alcoholic, but the mug shot looks like worse damage - like meth damage.

Crime can be a hard life. I think Patrick was 53 when that photo was taken but he looks 62.

Everything Patrick did seemed to be named with googleflage, so that there are a million other things with similar names that make his stuff had to find. United Fuel Cell Technologies sounds like United Technologies Fuel Cells, General Systems sounds like a bunch of things, and so does Genesis. And so it is with Aerospace Technologies. Any idea if that was a real company and where it was incorporated?

If you search for "Patrick Kelly" "Aerospace Technologies, Inc" you find a guy in the 206 area code. Not the same guy.

John,

Sorry, I checked out for awhile. I Googled the search you referenced and only found a link to your last post (ironic).

It's quite possible the 206 guy is the same Pat. Aerospace Technologies (ATI) was incorporated in Spokane around 1982. Seattle was the target for relocation as the first acquisition was to be Mamco manufacturing - a Boeing supplier in Ballard. When the whole thing fell apart in Spokane, they sent Pat off to Seattle by himself to resuscitate the finances and bring the team over later. He ran it out of a house in Mill Creek for several months until the bill collectors finally closed in. I don't know what happened after that.

ATI was supposed to be a plastics & military support contracts manufacturing company (with no facilities), but the early 80's revealed leveraged buyouts as the hip way to fast money - so that became ATI's path.

ATI actually had some very good honest people and had a good chance for success. It was killed because Pat could never take the straight path, even when it was easiest.

have you heard of this man Menran Keshes . Website is http://www.keshefoundation.com/en/ , He claims to have discovered a plasma fusion device which can also act as an antigravity drive. He has been making the claim since 2009 without providing any proof. He promised to do a demonstration in 2010 but cancelled it saying government suppression which is a lie. Patent is http://www.freepatentsonline.com/EP1770717.pdf .
he promised another demonstration this November 26th. Again he didnt show the generator. He claimed the police came and sealed it . So he couldnt demonstrate it.Website is http://translate.google.lk/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&u=http://www.wanttoknow.nl/wetenschap/energie/keshe-in-het-evoluon-een-verslag/&ei=rt3WTpznH4_JrAfZnu28Dg&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=5&ved=0CDEQ7gEwBDha&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkeshe%2BElektor%2Blive%2B2011%26start%3D90%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1024%26bih%3D582%26prmd%3Dimvns . I feel he is lying about the police taking his device. I feel it is an excuse because he has nothing. Could you have a look at the patent and tell me if it is feasible. I am not a scientist but I feel it is a fraud.
