A booming segment of the Perpetual Motion Machine industry is capitalizing on the hype over the "Hydrogen Economy" with claims to produce Hydrogen for impossibly low cost.

Genesis Scientific AKAs

Patrick Kelly has used a lot of facades in in promoting investment and licensing opportunities for the Edison Device. The domains included general-systems.com, gs-net.com, genesisworldenergy.com, genesisenergysystems.com, and, now, genesis-scientific.com. Also he registered a few businesses:

  • 2001-08 United Fuel Cell Technologies in Delaware

  • 2003-03 World Energy Management in Nevada

  • 2003-09 GWE Technologies in Delaware

  • 2004-01 Genesis Scientific in Nevada

  • Here is the registration for Genesis Scientific. Notice that the only officer ever listed was Nancy Lake of Nevada Corporation Center, who is an officer of over 100 companies.

Organizers in New Jersey showed the General Systems website to help convince investors that they had checked Kelly out for them. It was a pretty well thought out presentation. It didn't hold up to a lot of scrutiny, but they were not going for "lots of scrutiny" type of investor.

The sentencing included $400k in restitution. That could be something like 15 cents on the dollar invested. Contact Peter Aseltine 609-292-4791
